Hannah Ashcroft combines intricate songwriting and poetic lyrics with her deft guitar playing and distinctive voice. Taking inspiration from St Vincent & John Martyn and fusing them with poets Ovid and Syliva Plath – the result is a sound which is subtle, inviting and more revealing with each listen.

Gaining initial acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music’s Tom Robinson & Mary Anne Hobbs as well as tastemaker music sites such as Secret Meeting and Ear To The Ground, Hannah then collaborated with Mercury Prize-nominated artist Beth Orton as part of Brighter Sound’s gender equality initiative Both Sides Now.

As a performer and songwriter, Hannah has played venues and festivals across the globe, from shows in her hometown of Manchester to La Cigale in Paris and Meadow festival in Australia.

Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to her brand new 2021 EP, Hannah Ashcroft has seen a steady rise in audience for her music and fans are excited to hear what’s to come next.
