Raised somewhere between Manchester and Liverpool, with a brief stint in Melbourne, Hannah Ashcroft is a self producing songwriter, guitarist and session musician.
These days, she can mainly be found teetering on the edge of and occasionally nose diving into the indie, psych and folk realms, with wonky guitar riffs, offbeat lyrics and a myriad of effects pedals.
Her releases have attracted the attention of tastemakers at BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio and Clash magazine, with her latest EP ‘HUSK’, earning her a spot on the Glastonbury Emerging Artist list.
Fresh from the tour van, she has spent the past year playing shows across the UK & EU with critically acclaimed US artist Lissie, as both an opener and band member.
In her spare time, she may be spotted collaborating with Mercury nominated artist Beth Orton, supporting indie favourites BC Camplight and Siobhan Wilson, or singing sold out shows with The Lathums.
